Video Walkthrough of the Site
Hey, Scott Austin here from Jade Puma. In this video, I'm going to walk you through the new store build that I did for EML. This is a Shopify store using the fluoxetine by out of the sandbox and EML is a big bag manufacturer. Some of the bags they've designed themselves like this one here is a very unique design for caring beach gear. And then other bags are ones that they're, they're building their own brands behind them. So let's go back to the homepage here and we've got this color scheme, you know, we'll get this shield, blue, whatever you want to call it. And every everything for the brand is, is centered around that color and different shades intensive it, depending on what we're doing, as you can see here, and you know, they're selling bags, but they've got three different types of bags. So they've got beach pack, school, backpacks, diaper bags, and then if you want to see all you can, you can see all of them. And when you take, you know, we take it the beach pack, there's only one option there. So we take you straight to the product page. If you pick school backpacks, there's several options. I think five or four of them. So we do there is we do a little education process. We say, Hey, here's the Maura, it's our smallest bag. It's for the kidney gardeners. This one's a class, you know, is to try to explain to people why they would pick one, you know, and personally I'm a fan of magnet. So if I was buying a bag for my kids, I'd be like, Oh, the one of the magnets, that's the one I want to get. And then, you know, so explain the different versions of them and then showing all of them. And they've got some, some assets and some places you have the three 60 videos. Those are nice on the, on the hover. We're showing the color swatches so they could see the color options and then diaper bags, same thing, there's multiple choices. So we need to explain what's going on and let people see the options, you know, or the three, this one has a lot more, three 60 videos at the bottom, which are a lot of fun. So let's go into school backpacks, let's go to the beach pack and show you what a product page looks like. So here we have the product carousel with lots of photos. We've got the product seals from the different value props about the products. And here we're using the sections template in the flux theme. So it gives us lots of modules. We can put content in. So here you got some texts. Who've got image and text here, we've got multiple images here. We've got text and image here. We've got some videos. You can see lots of content. We just keep stacking and stack and more and more information for the customer about the product. So those who, you know, know they want the beach pack back, they land on this page. They can add it straight to the cart for those that want to learn more about it. If we're making that purchase decision, you know, we keep that content going. You know, some people understand the concept of an infinite scroll landing page. This is an infinite scroll, but it does go on for a little bit, you know, explaining with all the information and assets. They have a video copy and imagery, you know, and some of them are photos and other, those are little that they've made, leveraging all that, that assets to inform the customer as much as we can. And we do that in each of these like a school backpack. Let's just pick the Bianca and here you can see, you know, we show all the colors side by side and we've got some really nice infographics showing different value props and information, you know, that might be important for different customers. And of course, you know, you can click on it and see it in better detail with the gallery functionality it's going on there. So I don't think we have videos for this one, but lots of imagery. So the customer makes a decision. They want to add it to their cart here. You can see we've got a little element here talking about, Hey, we're open during COVID. This is a little content section that they can edit and change the copy on depending on what's going on and the situation as the situation dictates like, Hey, you know, we're off for the holidays. We'll be shipping when we return any information like that is good to put in a module like this. And if we go into the checkout, we'll see that the checkout experience has the EML branding in it. Yeah, we have the logo and that teal color scheme going on pretty well in there. So that's the shopping experience. And we look at the evergreen pages, the about us. I love this one here because they're actually showing that this is Marcello and Patricia they're they're husband and wife team. Their kids are actually the adorable little red headed children here on the homepage are their three children. Right? So I love the fact that what they're doing here in this store, you know, is putting, putting themselves out there and putting, you know, their images up and telling their story. Right. You know, I'm Patty, a mother of three girls, you know, and they show the rest of the team also. So that, that's absolutely wonderful. The about EML page, they tell a little bit about the history of the store, you know, the company, how it got started. That's an absolutely wonderful photo. That's the kind of stuff that, you know, really makes that human connection in a store, right. You know, when you look at this, you feel like you're buying from people, people that, you know, you feel like you can trust as opposed to some anonymous company. They also explained, you know, about their products, how they're manufactured, the quality and all that good stuff. And they have information for wholesale. So everybody wants to sell their products and their store. They've got a little information in a contact form. We've got all the different policy pages there's contact us page, of course. And that leads us into the FAQ page, which has this really nice accordion functionality that I like come from the flex team. So that is the EML store that we built in Shopify. Thanks for watching.
