Hey, Scott Austin here.
And in this video, I'm gonna show you a tool that I made for the flex theme to be able to look at all your product photos and quickly evaluate them. So here you can see on the URL that I'm on a page and all you do is take the page template that I created and the there'll be code for that on the blog article. So if you're looking at this on YouTube, there'll be a link to the blog article in the description, go to the blog article, you'll see the codes you need for two files. One is the section to display the product photos. And the other is the page template that references that section to display the product photos. So the settings inside of this in theme customization are fairly simple. All we're really doing is controlling the text and the background colors and some, you know, spacing, you know, with the normal flex spacing on sections capability.
And what it does is it goes through your entire product catalog. If you got two products, it'll go through two. If you got 2000, it'll go through all 2000. If you have a lot of products, more than 50, it'll pate them across, however many pages are necessary to do this. But what it does is it shows you the product and right here, this product link takes you into the admin. So if you wanted to edit the product photos or look at 'em better, you can click right there. It'll take you into the Shopify admin for your store, right to that product page. And you can do whatever you want to do. And it shows all the product photos for the product, and it gives you some data around them like the dimensions and the aspect ratio. So it's a quick way to look and see what your product photos are, what the quality are, you know, by the, the dimensions, and then asking yourself if you know, the aspect ratios are up to the standards that you're driving for in your catalog. So, like I said, it's a pretty simple tool, pretty simple to add to your store and you can use it to evaluate all your product photos.
Hopefully that helps. Thanks.
