Hey, Scott Austin here from JadePuma. And in this video, I'm going to show you how you delegate access to your GoDaddy account to me so that I can connect your domain to your Shopify store. Or sometimes I need the access to authenticate your domain with Google search console. So you log into your GoDaddy account. I've got a couple of them here, go. And if you go over here to your log-in name underneath it, you'll see account settings. Did you go to account settings? And on this page, here's delegate access. So click on that. And on the left side, when it comes up, it'll be anybody who has delegated access to you, which probably hasn't happened for you. But if, if, if they have that it's there and on the right side will be where you delegate access and we're still waiting for this page to load.
Click it again. All right. So here's people that have already given me access, but here's how I grant access. So here's what I want you to do is go into this little link here, invite to access and just put in my name and email address Scott at Jade, puma.com and then the access I'm going to need is products in domains. So the products allows me to access your DNS settings, which is usually what I need access for. So click on products and domain and invite, and then you're good to go. It'll send me an email and I'll get 48 hours to click on it. So for example, if you do this on Friday afternoon, I don't see it until Monday morning. I'll have to email you again and say, Hey, can you email me that access again? Cause the 48 hours has expired, but that's how we do it. Thanks for watching.
