Shopify has a free app called Product Reviews that is a great way to get reviews started in your store. You can import reviews from your other channels. Some store owners experience issues with how the store is displayed when importing reviews. Here's how to remedy the issue.
After you import your reviews, look at the reviews in your store. If the years look like 0016 instead of 2016, follow the instructions below.
Wrong Date Format in Shopify Product Reviews
The fix for this is two easy steps as follows:
- First, as you are editting your CSV file for import, set the date format using Excel as shown below.
- And second, as you are importing your CSV from within the Product Reviews app, make sure to check the box
That's all it should take and then the year will appear in the right format.
